My New Class and Situation

Today was my first day in Honors Human Geo 102. I left my Honors 101 class to fit in my new schedule. We took notes on Situation. Situation is the location of a place relative to other places. It helps us find an unfamiliar place by comparing its location with a familiar one. It helps us understand the importance of a location. An example is some places are important because they are accessible to other places due to their location. We identify important buildings , streets, and other landmarks to direct people to their desired location. We also talked about how most manufactured things are made in third world countries where the people that make it get paid a lot less. They get a paid about 300 a month if they go to work everyday, and they don't get insurance or sick days. We get paid at least about 2,400 a month, plus insurance and sick days. That is why America doesn't make as much manufactured goods because it would cost a lot more than just letting other countries do it. That is what I learned today in class.
