Plato's best (and worst) ideas.
1) How did Plato define The Forms?
Forms are the ideal version of the things and concepts we see around us. They serve as sort of an instruction manual to our own world.
2) Who are the three groups in Plato’s ideal society?
The three groups Plato thought society should be split into are producers, the military, and the rulers.
3) What were Plato’s thoughts on women?
He thought that women should be able to rule in his model city. He wasn't consistent with his thoughts on women because later he likened them to children. He said a women's womb was a live animal that could wander around her body and cause illness.
4) What was the Noble Lie that Plato proposed?
